Put plant parts such as flowers or petals in a bucket of very cold water, add ice cubes - the cold causes resin glands to freeze and thus makes them sievable. Stir with the mixer for 10 - 30 minutes, refrigerate for 15 - 30 minutes, add ice. The colder, the better! Place sieve bag 1 with 220 µ in fresh buckets, drain water with plant matter until it is green and foamy. The plant mass can still be used for a second pass. Hang the other sieve bag or bags in order - the finest first, then the next coarser one, etc. - in a new bucket and slowly pour in the previously poured green water and let it run through the bag(s). What remains is a brown-green sludge in the bags. Scrape it off the bottom of the screen with a plastic card and let it dry.
